Baby is an America
Shorthair hybrid. Believe it or not, she is the first hairless generation
and her sire is a fully coated half sphynx/half American Shorthair. We
are thrilled with Baby's type and find that her profile and build is most
attractive. We are also excited with the expansion of the sphynx gene pool
by approved outcrosses and are pleased to be a part of that as well. Baby
will be shown, and we feel she can hold her own with any multigenerational
bred sphynx. Baby's sire and his American Shorthair lines, as well as his
sphynx lines, have scanned clear for HCM repeatedly, as has her sphynx
dam.
